NBA superstar, Ja Morant, of the Memphis Grizzlies appeared to flash a gun in an Instagram live video. This incident occurs more than two months after he flashed a gun in another Instagram live video in a Denver-area strip club, which led to an eight game suspension. Morant has been reportedly suspended from all Grizzlies activities on Sunday.

Ja Morant appeared to be holding a gun in an Instagram Live video posted on Saturday.

After the first gun incident, which Morant claimed was not his, he left the team and entered a counseling program and was later given an eight game suspension by the NBA. In March, Glendale police stated, “there was not enough available evidence to charge anyone with a crime.” Following the incident many people were disappointed in Morant for his actions. Morant spoke out on the incident and stated, “It’s not who I am. I don’t condone any type of violence, but I’ve taken responsibility for my actions.”

This year Morant has really sparked in the world of basketball. He is very flashy on the court with his spectacular dunks, and his unique skill to finish strong in the paint. Through the season he has averaged 26.2 PTS, 5.9 REB, 8.1 AST which truly show how much of a key part he is to the Memphis Grizzlies. Many sports analysts have stated how disappointed they are in Morant in his recent actions.

NBA commissioner, Adam Silver, stated, “Ja’s conduct was irresponsible, reckless and potentially very dangerous.” Many officials are disappointed in Morant’s actions. Since this being the second time he’s done this, the fans are upset because they feel the organization is falling apart. Morant has reportedly been attending therapy to help him out of this confusion between the streets, and the NBA.
