On Tuesday night, the Chaffin Choir had their annual Christmas concert. There were two concerts this year, Concert A which involved the seventh grade beginning choirs and the non-auditioned female and male choirs, and Concert B had all the auditioned choirs. It started at 6 PM, where the Advanced Women opened the concert with It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year and The Shepherds Saw a Star. They were then followed by the Gents group, and they performed Drummer Boy and Home Christmas Day. After them the Beginning Women performed S’vivon (The Dredyl Song), There is Faint Music, and Let it Snow! That was the end of Concert A, and then Concentus opened the second concert. They performed Sing We and Chant It, Carol of the Russian Children, and Grande MistleSwift (and the Biebs). After them, Chamber choir performed The Holly and the Ivy, Es ist ein Ros entsprungen, and This Little Babe. Vox closed the concert with four songs including: Gaudete, This Evenfall ‘Tis Snowing, Gloucestershire Wassail, and There was a Night where SATB and Vox alumni joined the group to sing. Great job to the performing groups and to Mr. Lee and Miss. Guadagnini!
