Orchestra is a musical group that we have at Chaffin Junior High. Orchestra is great for people who like classical music, involving woodwinds, brass, percussion, and strings. Orchestra has 4 main types of instruments, violins, violas, bases, and cellos.

If you don’t know what these are then you can come one week before school starts to the orchestra room and test out each instrument to see which one you like and which one would fit best. Also, if you don’t know where to don’t worry because there will be signs and people to guide you.

Orchestra helps in many ways. When you play an instrument in an orchestra it helps you relieve stress, relax, and focus. It also helps with motivation, as well as helping with improved brain development. Proven research shows that most people who are doctors or other big professional jobs have played in an orchestra.

Orchestra is a big opportunity to help in the future and is recommended by a lot of professional workers. It gives you a chance to meet new people and make so many new friends.
