Arkansas Vs Texas Tech
The Arkansas Razorbacks silenced the Texas Longhorns (4-0) on their own turf Sunday night at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, downing the Longhorns, 4-0, in a two-hit shutout. Razorback pitchers combined for 15 strikeouts, led by starter Peyton Pallette’s career-best eight punch-outs.
T-5th: Arkansas 1, Texas Tech 0
The Razorbacks score their first run of the season on a two-out, bases-loaded walk by Cullen Smith. It came after Christian Franklin looked at a pitch down the middle for strike three.
B-5th: Texas tech 5, Arkansas, 1
Texas Tech chases Zebulon Vermillion with a leadoff double and walk. Facing reliever Caden Monke and with the bases loaded Cal Conley drove in two runs with a single into left field.
B-6th: Arkansas 5, Texas Tech 5
Arkansas responded in the very next half-inning. A hit by pitch and two walks loaded the bases with no outs and Jalen Battles delivered with a two-run double over and left fielder’s head. A wild pitch scored another run and then the tying run scored on a Robert Moore sacrifice fly.
