On Monday (May 3rd), Tuesday (May 4th), and Thursday (May 6th) there were volleyball tryouts for 7th and 8th graders. Next year, Chaffin Junior High School will be Chaffin Middle School. This will be a big change for the school and the teachers.

The new 7th grade team is Jade Burton, Emily Butler, Lily Cox, Logan Cross, Lynzee Dominguez, Natali Espinoza, Breanna Gutierrez, Summer Harrison, Mackenzie Kincannon, Angelyn Martinez, Bentley Rupe, and Kate Schmidt.

The new 8th grade team is Ermie Baxter, Ava Falcon, Kinsley Harrison, Macie McKinley, Nhu Nguyen, Eva Perry, Paola Sanchez, Ella Shelby, Chloe Smith, Kailyn Webb, Kamryn Webb, and Madeline Wilson. Chaffin will now have 6th, 7th, and 8th graders.
