Conan Gray

  Conan Lee Gray is an American singer and songwriter. He was raised in California and Georgetown Texas. He started out by posting YouTube videos for fun when he was 12 years old. He then started posting song covers from then on. Conan Gray is now one of the top influencers of our generation, and has won many awards such as “Shorty Award for Best YouTube Musician.” His two most popular songs are “Heather” which have over 310 million streams, and “Maniac” which have 90 million streams. Conan writes all of his own music, and even draws and colors the album/ song covers for his music. Some fun facts about Conan is that when he was younger  he moved to Hiroshima, Japan to help take care of his grandfather; his best friend is none other than Olivia Rodrigo, and he is Japanese and Irish. Conan Gray is also a big advocate for the LGBTQ+ community in many ways. So many people struggle with feeling like they need to have a label, but Conan expresses himself and shares with others that they don’t need a label. “ Quit trying to put a label on me, I’m a person” Conan posted.
