The U.N just had a meeting in New York on February 23rd, 2023, to decide on what to do with the Russian Invasion of neighboring Ukraine.  The U.N General Assembly called on Moscow to reverse the illegal annexation. 143 Member States in favor of the Ukraine Resolution , with five voting against, and 35 abstentions. The countries who voted against were Belarus, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Nicaragua, Russia and Syria. Most of the abstaining countries were African countries alongside China and India.
